The Browsers by Browser Operating Systems report shows what operating systems have visited the Web site. The Browsers by Browser OS report provides general information regarding the type of users visiting the site. This can be helpful when targeting specific audiences by operating system. For example, a high percentage of Windows NT® versus Windows 98® traffic could very well indicate more IT professionals and less end users frequent your Web site. For sites that offer downloadable files, knowing the OS of users is valuable when deciding what level of priority or support to provide for different operating systems.
